Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use myanimalgenerator.com. It is written to be read, not to be impressive.

The short version: we do not ask you for anything. There is no account, no sign-up and no form. We do not collect your name, your email address or your location. What data does exist is anonymous traffic measurement and the cookies set by our advertising partners, both described below.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. The generator runs in your browser. Which animals you spin, which filters you pick and which links you copy are not sent to us or recorded anywhere.

Anonymous usage statistics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. This records the page visited, the referring site, and coarse information such as country, browser and device type. It does not identify you and is not used to build a profile.

Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs including IP addresses for a short period, for security and abuse prevention. We do not mine these.

Advertising and cookies

This site is free and is funded by advertising. We work with third-party advertising partners, including Google, to display ads.

You should know the following:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• Advertising partners may also use web beacons, pixel tags, device identifiers and your IP address to measure ad performance and to limit how often you see the same ad.
• These cookies are set by the advertising networks, not by us, and we do not have access to the data they collect.

Your choices:

• You may opt out of personalised advertising by Google by visiting Google Ads Settings.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland: where personalised advertising applies to you, consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, before any personalised advertising cookie is set. You can refuse, or withdraw consent later, from that notice. Refusing does not restrict your use of the site — you will simply see non-personalised ads.

Advertising is not switched on at every moment of this site's life; when no ads are being served, no advertising cookies are set at all.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with anyone beyond the advertising and analytics providers described above. We do not send marketing email, because we do not have your email address. We do not use tracking pixels from social networks.

Children

This site is suitable for general audiences and is used in classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information — which would be unusual, since the site has no input fields — contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to processing. Since we hold no account data, in most cases there is nothing for us to return or delete, but you are welcome to ask.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the site.
