What is a 1–100 number randomizer useful for?

A number randomizer replaces a physical draw when you need an unpredictable integer quickly. The default setup samples from 100 possible whole numbers, so it works for games, classroom activities, practice problems, team order, informal prize draws, and any low-stakes choice where each number should have the same chance.

This tool uses rejection sampling instead of simply rounding a decimal. That prevents the edge values from receiving a different probability. When you request unique numbers, it samples without replacement, so a result cannot appear twice.

The result link records the displayed draw for convenient sharing; it is not a tamper-proof audit record. For regulated lotteries, gambling, financial decisions, access codes, or cryptographic material, use a system built and audited for that purpose.
